I strive to create works that lie in a realm between scary and fun, creating a sense of confusion in the viewer. The work invites the viewer in with lots of bright and exciting colors, characters, and scenes. Some elements include clownish people, grotesque faces, and monsters. Once engaging with the scenes, one can find themselves a little disturbed with what is happening and may not want to be apart of the world anymore, because subtle details make the overall energy feel eerie. The viewer is left feeling a little uneasy after experiencing the uncanniness and confusing fun in the work.
